Waste Paper Deinking Enzymes

Waste paper deinking enzyme is extracted from several special enzyme. It is specifically for modifying fibers of recycled papers, and can effectively separate ink and impurities of recycled paper. Waste paper deinking enzyme is a powder preparation, with a wide scope of application: PH value is 5-8 and temperature is 25 ℃---60 ℃.
Waste paper deinking enzyme is composed by varieties of different of microorganisms, it’s three characteristics determines the relevant benefits produced by this bio enzyme after mixed with recycled pulp.

Effects

   1. Sub-wire broom effect

  • Waste paper deinking enzyme direct act on fiber surface, make smooth fiber surface produce many branches, which get sub-wire broom effect, this property brings advantages as follows:
  • Can replace chemical deinking agent completely, which is due to the action of enzyme to fiber surface to weaken the combine with ink, repass appropriate mechanical action, the ink particles and fibers completely stripped, reduce deinking cost and pollution load for enterprise, and the ink removal rate is higher than chemical agent.
  • Because the connection between fiber and fiber changed to multi-point connection after sub-wire broom, the paper strength, bursting strength, tearability are all improved, plus fines fibers recombined on these sub-wire broomed fibers, the paper quality and strength are both further improved.
  • Because the improved bursting strength can decrease high quality raw materials matching, it saves the dosage of finished paper distarch or other chemical auxiliaries like soda, hydrogen peroxide and silicate.

   2. Polymerization
This polymerization can recombine fine fibers in pulp, which is the first property of waste paper deinking enzyme. When waste paper deinking enzyme be added to recycled pulp, it encounters those fine fibers remaining in pulp firstly, surround these fine fibers with its quantitative superiority more than tiny fibers myriad times to make fine fibers recombined together, when these chain fits crash with macrofiber, attaches to macrofibers, meanwhile due to the very small volume of waste paper deinking enzyme microorganisms, after added to pulp, it will be crashed out even contact with macrofibers in advance. But when they recombine with fine fibers to major volume, superadd its adhesiveness, they will recombine with macrofibers naturally when encounter macrofibers later. The property of waste paper deinking enzyme brings advantages as follows:

  • Improve the strength of short fiber part-paper, which can reduce the matching of paper high quality raw material.
  • Drainability of pulp is obviously reinforced, rotate speed of paper machine can be improved, thus improve production or reduce available machine time. 
  • Dry paper part hot-gas is obviously rised, which can save steam dosage.
  • Paper machine part close recycling water becomes clearly clean, which can reduce cost of water treatment or reduce amount of added clear water.

   3. Water absorption swelling effect
    Make fiber interior loosen, thus make fiber easier to absorb water swell, fiber be soft after imbibition, so that can save wasting energy of millstone defibrination.
    Synthesize above advantages: pulp after adding Waste paper deinking, enzyme becomes more clean, with improved quality but no pollution.

  • Appearance: Tan to light yellow powder (Note that color does not affect or reflect  activity.)
  • Odor: Slight fermentation odor
  • Solubility: soluble in water
  • PH (1% solution): 4.5 + 1.0 
    Effective temperature
    It will function from 25°C-60°C with an optimum of 30°C-40 °C.
    Effective PH
    It will function from a pH of 5–8 with an optimum of 6.5-7.5.

Dosage

Dosage is: 20-50g/t(per metric ton dry pulp), optimum dosage is 30g/t.

Standard packaging, specific packaging can be determined by user requirements.

Note

Waste paper deinking enzyme is non-poisonous and can be biodegradable. Avoid unnecessary contact with product, wash hands with warm soap-suds, avoid direct inhalation. Long term exposure to protein based products such as deinking enzyme may sensitize certain individuals to the product. Avoid children to contact the product. Always close drum after opening.

Storage

Sealed and stored in a cool, dry place. The activity will not reduce 10% when stored under 25℃ for 1 year, while keep more than 90% when stored under 38℃ for 1 month. The product can not be frozen.
